Delphian Records

Delphian Records is one of the UK's leading independent classical record labels, based in Edinburgh. Initially conceived to supplement the already rich artistic activities that take place in Edinburgh during its famous International Festival, Delphian now boasts a wide roster including some of the UK's finest choirs, ensembles and instrumental soloists, as well as an informal grouping of vocalists working regularly with pianist and song mastermind Iain Burnside. In the fifteen years since Delphian's inception, the label's founder Paul Baxter has built a broad and engaging catalogue whose repertoire ranges from pre-medieval times right up to the present day. In 2014 it was named Gramophone Magazine's Label of the Year.
