MIRCO MUNGARI - Archaeologist and musician living in Bologna (Italy). He has carried out researches about Roman wall-paintings and domestic architecture, in Herculaneum, Pompeii and Aquileia. His actual work is focused on Roman musical instruments in the Vesuvian area, and domestic soundscapes in Roman contexts. In the frame of the EMAP he provides scientific contents about Roman instruments found in the Vesuvian sites.  As a musician he is interested in Medieval organology and monodic repertoires from 11th to 13th century, alternating research activity and performance.
